I never thought that Oprah would be such a supporter of a talk show which she does not own. Of course she did have a couple of live links to Gale’s show (her best friend), back when Gale still had her own talk show. How time flies.
Ellen DeGeneres was surprised by Oprah Winfrey to congratulate her on the 1,000th episode of "The Ellen DeGeneres Show". Could Tyra Banks be expecting the same from Oprah? We will see. Oh maybe she can also create a campaign like Ellen. Just a thought!
Oprah's surprise appearance was via Skype from her office on Friday, May 1. The producers told Ellen that she has a call and when she turned around it turned out to be Oprah. OMG – scream like a mad person please….NO! That’s not Ellen’s style.
She was with her dog and had a glass of champagne in hand to congratulate Ellen, She said "I really just wanted to say congratulations. I know what it takes to do 1,000 shows, and I, like everybody else, wish for you 1,000 more."
"You make our lives so much more fun and entertaining. And the grace with which you do it all is just really magnificent - so congratulations."
Along with the occasion, Oprah brought the editor of "O" magazine, Gale King, to announce which issue of the magazine that the two of them, Oprah and Ellen, will be sharing the cover in.

I am not a fan of talk shows,... but I do watch Ellen on a not so regular basis. I prefer her to Oprah,.. Ellen is just fun. When I watch Oprah or Madam Tyra, I get the feeling that if I don't live like them, or follow the life style that they are preaching, then I am a BAD human being. And why the hell do I need Oprah to tell me what I should read? But that is just me,... I don't do boxes.. Ellen on the other hand, she is just so relaxed! GO ELLEN! LMAO
