This is one of the movies, we find very funny. A portly panda becomes an unlikely kung-fu fighting guardian of a peaceful valley community in this "imaginative" (San Francisco Chronicle) animated hit. It's time for a new Dragon Warrior to be chosen and five contenders stand before the great (and possibly senile) temple master.
To the shock of everyone, he picks an overweight noodle-selling panda named Po who finds an inner strength he never knew he had--even as he prepares to take on the evil Tai Lung in a kung-fu battle!
Featuring the voices of Jack Black, Dustin Hoffman, Angelina Jolie, Ian McShane, Jackie Chan and Lucy Liu. Directed by John Stevenson and Mark Osborne; screenplay by Jonathan Aibel & Glenn Berger, story by Ethan Reiff & Cyrus Voris. Kung Fu Panda airs today on HBO at 8:00 PM
