TheTVObserver: Tube Down My Throat

TheTVObserver’s Memorable Moments presents a moment on the Tyra Banks talk show, in which a girl named Cassie goes days without food. This was creepy and very sad. Cassie is not starving, she does that deliberately to avoid gaining weight, because she thinks she is fat. It may not look like that from a skeleton like appearance but to she sees her self overweight.

We refer to her as “Tube Down My Throat Girl”, because of her drastic measures to keep her weight down. When I watched these videos, (yes we have a couple), my low tolerance level kicked in and I did not find it funny or amusing. In fact, I just found it disgusting and very sad.

I felt sorry for Cassie, whose life is basically destroyed by her condition and she has to resort to extreme measures, just to keep up with the distorted demands made by her state of mind. To her, they are not distorted, they are very real.

This anorexic girl demonstrated all her weight loss methods. One of them includes taking 30 laxatives and the most extreme in my opinion is when she sticks a tube down her throat to suck all the food out. ….yes I know!

I once took three laxatives because someone had convinced me that they can clean my system very fast. BIG MISTAKE…… I felt like heaven was making an urgent application for my presence. At one point, I had my ass in the air and as funny as it may sound, it was not intentional and provided relief until I got to the doctor. I started to vomit blood. It was the biggest mistake ever and I cannot understand why someone would take 30.

You really have to see the video to believe it. Cassie sticks a long thin tube all the way down her throat to her stomach and attaches a syringe to suck out all the contents of her stomach. She even tells Tyra that she no longer has gag reflexes. Some people may find that attractive for all the wrong reasons LOL.Moving on....

One person posted a comment and said “God I really wish that I did not see that because to be honest with you,.... now that i know how to do it I think I will crack @ some point and try it. dam this is not good!!!!!” This reminds us how real this may be.

That was horrible to watch, and all too real a nightmare for most who are in the same situation.
