TheTVObserver's StarSpread presents the complete list of TheTVObserver's Top40 Hot TV Hunks, before the "Ultimate Top10 TV Hunks" reveal.

Again, please note that this list is in no particular order and the actors being listed as number 1 to 40, does not mean anything, however being included in the list is more important to us. The only list where the numbers count is our "Top10 Ultimate TV Hunk", which will be published June 11th, 2009.

#1 Patrick Dempsey

Patrick Dempsey is an actor, known for his role as neurosurgeon Dr. Derek Shepherd on the medical drama Grey's Anatomy. His first major television role was a recurring role as Will's closeted sportscaster boyfriend on Will & Grace. The most memorable appearance by Patrick was when he appeared as special guest star in The Practice for 3 episodes finale season, as a married man who murdered his lover. That was cool.

#2 Gale Harold

Gale Morgan Harold III best known for his roles on Queer as Folk, Desperate Housewives and Vanished. Harold joined the cast of Desperate Housewives on May 18, 2008 as Jackson Braddock, Susan Mayer's latest love interest.

#3 George Stults

George Sheehy Stults is former male fashion model. He become popular on our TV observations for his role as Kevin Kinkirk on the long-running television show, 7th Heaven. George made a guest appearance on a season 7 episode of Friends, The One With Joey's New Brain as Jessica Lockhart's daughter's boyfriend. He previously had appeared in Everybody Loves Raymond for a much less conspicuous appearance.

#4 Enrique Murciano

Enrique Murciano is best known for playing Special Agent Danny Taylor in the CBS drama Without a Trace. He was also cast as the eye candy on the short-lived MTV soap opera "Spyder Games" as Francisco Torres.Foreman.

#5 Ian Somerhalder

Ian Somerhalder is an actor, male fashion model and producer, probably most notable for playing Boone Carlyle in the TV drama Lost. He has appeared in Smallville (played Adam Knight, a dead person who is being kept alive by a special drug), CSI: Miami, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Now and Again, and The Big Easy.

#6 Scott Speedman

Scott Speedman is a UK-born Canadian film and television actor. He is best known for playing Ben Covington in the coming-of-age television drama Felicity. He is in our records Mr. Felicity. He now does movies mostly and I have to admit that it would be nice to see him as a regular on television.

#7 Rob Lowe

Robert Lowe is known for his role as Sam Seaborn on The West Wing and as Senator Robert McCallister on Brothers & Sisters. After Dr. Vegas, and The Lyon's Den. We never thought I much loved "never-getting old" TV hunk will ever be seen on TV especially after he passed on the role of Dr. Derek Shepard of Grey's Anatomy, which eventually went to Patrick Dempsey. But we love observing him on ABC's Brothers & Sisters.

#8 Bradley Cooper

Bradley Cooper is a film, stage, and television actor. He's best known in our books for his lead role in the Fox sitcom Kitchen Confidential, based on a memoir by chef Anthony Bourdain, on Kitchen Confidential. He began his professional acting career on the television series Sex and the City. He returned twice to Alias as a guest star after leaving the show in 2003, and he also guest-starred on the short-lived TV series Miss Match. He appeared as a regular guest star in the WB series Jack & Bobby. Cooper starred in Season 5 of Nip/Tuck as Aidan Stone. My favorite quote, okay I have a lot, from Kitchen Confidential....

#9 Milo Ventimiglia

Milo Ventimiglia is best known for his role of Peter Petrelli on the TV series Heroes, but we know this little trouble maker turned super hero as Rory Gilmore's boyfriend Jess Mariano. He also appreared as Meg Pryor's love interest on NBC's critically acclaimed American Dreams. Mile also guest starred on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Sabrina, the Teenage Witch, Law and Order: Special Victims Unit and Boston Public.

#10 Matthew Fox

Matthew Fox is a former model and actor. His first major role was playing an older brother and patriarch Charlie Salinger on Party of Five. Ah! Party of Five, that is memorable moment right there. More recently, he gained much greater fame for playing Jack Shephard on the hit ABC drama series Lost.

#11 Tom Welling

Thomas "Tom" Welling is an actor, director and former fashion model, most famous for his continuing portrayal of Clark Kent in the television series Smallville. He was cast in the television series Smallville, after a nationwide search for an actor to play Clark Kent.

#12 Chris Carmack

Chris Carmack is an actor and former male fashion model. He is best known by global audiences as Luke on the first season of The O.C. Carmack portrayed Susan Mayer's cousin Tim in the television show Desperate Housewives for one episode. We found his appearance on Jake In Progress very funny and he also appeared on Smallville, CSI: Miami, and CSI: NY.

#13 Brody Hutzler

Mr. Shirtless Wonder, Ian Brody Hutzler is an actor primarily known for his roles on soap operas. He is famous for constantly taking off his shirt, earning the title "Shirtless Wonder." He has played Zachary Smith on Guiding Light, Cody Dixon on The Young and the Restless; Patrick Lockhart on Days of our Lives, and he has appeared on Titans and Charmed.

#14 Christopher Wiehl

Who can forget Chris from Bull and Las Vegas. Christopher Wiehl is an actor, known for his most prominent role as the quarterback Derrek McConnell in ESPN's short-lived series Playmakers. He has made guest appearances on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Birds of Prey, Charmed (for the episode Animal Pragmatism), Bufy the Campire Slayer, and Jericho. Some guys may know him as J.Crew Guy. Wink WInk!

#15 Galen Gering

Galen Gering is an actor best known for his portrayal of Luis Lopez-Fitzgerald on the NBC daytime soap opera Passions. He also debuted on Days of our Lives as Rafael Hernandez.

#16 Greg Vaughn

James Gregory Vaughan, Jr. is an actor and former male fashion model. He has starred in soap operas such as The Young and the Restless and General Hospital. He has appeared on Baywatch, Beverly Hills P0210, and Charmed.

#17 Jensen Ackles

Jensen Ross Ackles is a television and film actor. He is notable for his television roles as Eric Brady in Days of our Lives, Alec/X5-494 in Dark Angel, and Jason Teague in Smallville. He currently plays Dean Winchester on the CW series Supernatural.

#18 Josh Duhamel

Joshua Duhamel is an Award-winning American actor and former fashion model. He first achieved acting success in 1999 as Leo du Pres on ABC's All My Children and later as the chief of security, Danny McCoy, on NBC's Las Vegas.

#19 Michael Weatherly

Michael Weatherly, is an American actor, best known for his role as Special Agent Anthony DiNozzo on the show NCIS. Sometimes Michael is so good as Anthony that I wish he could just be DiNozzo. He began his professional acting career starring in minor television roles as Theo Huxtable's roommate on The Cosby Show, The City and Loving. He starred in Dark Angel for the two seasons it was on the air.

#20 Wentworth Miller

Wentworth Miller is a Golden Globe-nominated British-born American actor who rose to stardom following his role as Michael Scofield in the Fox Network television series Prison Break. His first starring role was as the sensitive and introverted David in ABC's mini-series Dinotopia; but his first TV appearance was as student-turned-sea monster Gage Petronzi on Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

#21 Anderson Cooper

There is nothing as awesome as observing CNN and you are greeted by an anchor such as Anderson Cooper. Mixed with his talent in broadcasting, the news just gets more interesting. Anderson Cooper is a journalist, author, and a television personality. He works as the primary anchor of the CNN news show Anderson Cooper 360°.

#22 Taye Diggs

Taye Diggs is a theatre, film and television actor. "Mr. Stella Got Her Groove Back" can be seen on the television series "Private Practice". Taye Diggs was featured in an episode of America's Next Top Model, to help the contestants through an acting challenge. We also loved him on the short-lived UPN television series Kevin Hill. He guest-starred for several episodes as Will Truman's love interest, James, on the final season of Will & Grace. Diggs was also Punk'd by Ashton Kutcher, while getting a check-up at a Punk'd-operated doctor's office. That was hilarious..lol!

#23 Ashton Kutcher

Ashton Kutcher, is an actor and former fashion model best known for playing Michael Kelso in the FOX sitcom That '70s Show. He was also the host of the MTV celebrity prank show Punk'd, he also created and produced the series. It would be cool to see the dude back on the small screen doing something great and funny, yes he is producing a show for TheCW. We want to see him infront of the camera not behind.

#24 Chace Crawford

Chace Crawford is an actor best known for his role as Nate Archibald in Gossip Girl on TheCW. He has appeared on Family Guy, Long Lost Son and it is reported that he has signed a contract to replace Zac Efron's role in the movie, made famous by Kevin Bacon, Footloose

#25 Bobby Cannavale

We believe, one of Bobby's most attractive feature is his voice. Robert Cannavale is an Emmy Award-winning actor noted for his role as Bobby Caffey on the critically acclaimed television series Third Watch. In 2002, he joined the cast of Ally McBeal for the last five episodes. Cannavale briefly appeared on the last two episodes of Oz. From 2004 to 2006, he had a recurring guest role on Will & Grace as Vince D'Angelo. He has also appeared in the films Snakes on a Plane, The Guru (2002), Shall We Dance? (2004) and Romance & Cigarettes (2005), and guest starred in Sex and the City, Six Feet Under, Oz, Law & Order - and its spin-off series Law & Order: Criminal Intent and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.

#26 Hill Harper

Hill Harper is a film, television and stage actor. His best-known role to date is that of coroner-turned-crime-scene-investigator Sheldon Hawkes on the American TV show CSI:NY, the second spin-off from the very successful CSI: Crime Scene Investigation franchise. He has also appeared on Married with Children, Walker Taxas Ranger, Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, NYPD Blue, ER, Cosby, City of Angels, The Twilight Zone, The Sopranos, Soul Food, CSI: Miami, amonst other TV roles.

#27 Adam Copeland

One of the most interesting WWE stars, Adam Copeland is a Canadian professional wrestler, better known by his ring name Edge. He is currently signed to World Wrestling Entertainment on its SmackDown brand where he is the reigning World Heavyweight Champion. The most fascinating part of Copeland is how intelligent he is. One would never expect him to be doing wrestling..but hey we are not complaining.

#28 James Lesure

James Lesure is an actor best known for his roles as Mike Cannon on the NBC comedy-drama Las Vegas, and as Mel Ellis on the NBC/WB sitcom For Your Love. He is also known for his guest appearances on many different shows, including Monk, Lost, Studio 60 On The Sunset Strip, Seinfeld, Alias, NYPD Blue , "George Lopez", The Drew Carey Show, and on the NBC show Lipstick Jungle.

#29 Chad Michael Murray

Chad Michael Murray is an actor and former fashion model. He is perhaps best known for his role as Lucas Scott in The CW series One Tree Hill. Murray appeared in several guest-starring television roles, including an episode of Diagnosis Murder and an episode of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. In 1999, Murray was cast as Tristin Dugray on Gilmore Girls. Murray appeared as Charlie Todd on Dawson's Creek, as well.

#30 Zachary Levi

Zachary Levi Pugh is a television actor. He played Kipp Steadman on the ABC sitcom Less Than Perfect. He also portrayed a potential boyfriend of Charisma Carpenter's character, Jane, in the ABC Family television movie See Jane Date. He now plays and Chuck Bartowski on Chuck. Levi has also appeared on The Division, and Curb Your Enthusiasm.

#31 Eddie Cibrian

Eddie Cibrian has starred in The Young and the Restless, Baywatch Nights, Sunset Beach as leading man Cole Deschanel, Third Watch as womanizing New York City firefighter Jimmy Doherty, Tilt as rising poker star Eddie Towne, and Invasion as Everglades park ranger Russell Varon.

He has also guest-starred in Saved By The Bell, Sabrina, the Teenage Witch, Criminal Minds and Beverly Hills, and 90210. Cibrian joined the cast of the FOX TV series Vanished mid-way through the season and was named the lead star of the show after the original star Gale Harold left the series following the demise of his character in the series' seventh episode.

Cibrian played Kevin in Samantha Who?, and Sebastian Fleet in Dirty Sexy Money. He also played Coach Diaz in Ugly Betty.

#32 Blair Underwood

Blair Underwood played headstrong attorney Jonathan Rollins from the NBC legal drama L.A. Law, a role he portrayed for seven years. He has appeared on The New Adventures of Old Christine, Dirty Sexy Money and In Treatment.

He also played the role of Roger De Souza opposite Heather Locklear in NBC's LAX; he guest starred on HBO's Sex and the City playing Cynthia Nixon's love interest; and he guest starred in an episode of the NBC series Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.

#33 Eric Winter

Eric Winter played the role of Rex Brady on the daytime soap opera Days of our Lives. Winter joined the show from July 8, 2002 until his final appearance on July 26, 2005. He was a male model and had some high profile campaigns, such as one print campaign for Tommy Hilfiger.

After leaving Days of our Lives, Winter had many small roles in television shows, such as CSI, Love Inc., Charmed and the now-cancelled Just Legal. He has guest starred on ABC Family's Wildfire. He played Jason McCallister, the brother of Senator Robert McCallister and love interest of Kevin Walker on the ABC drama Brothers & Sisters.

#34 Shemar Moore

Shemar Moore is an Emmy Award-winning actor and former male fashion model, best known for his role as Malcolm Winters on The Young and the Restless, He was the third permanent host of the long-running Soul Train series, from 1999 to 2003. He aslo plays FBI Special Agent Derek Morgan on CBS's hit drama, Criminal Minds.

#35 Ryan Seacrest

A leading broadcaster, Seacrest gained fame as host of the FOX reality show American Idol. While he continues to host that show, Seacrest also co-hosts the entertainment-news show E! News and hosts the annual Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve broadcast on ABC.

In January 2004, Seacrest launched a daily entertainment/variety/talk syndicated television program, On Air with Ryan Seacrest. Due to low ratings, the show was cancelled and aired its last episode on September 17, 2004.

#36 Austin Peck

Peck is best known for his role as Austin Reed on the daytime soap opera Days of our Lives. He was a recast to the role, and succeeded a popular actor, Patrick Muldoon. Peck became a fan favorite, reportedly getting the most fan mail of anyone in the "Days" cast.

#37 Joshua Morrow

Joshua is an American actor and former pop singer who plays the role of Nicholas Newman on The Young and the Restless.

He is a sports enthusiast who plays on celebrity basketball and softball teams on behalf of various charities. He also collects baseball cards and reads in his spare time. His favorite baseball team is the Milwaukee Brewers, and his favorite player is J. J. Hardy.

#38 Aiden Turner

Aiden is a British actor. He is probably best known for his Daytime Emmy-nominated role of Aidan Devane on All My Children. He has appeared in Undressed, EastEnders and Crossroads.

Turner is also a model for Avon and appears regularly in their print catalogs. Turner can also be seen in a CoverGirl commercial with Molly Sims.

#39 Jessie Pavelka

Jessie Pavelka is a professional fitness trainer who stared in Lifetime's "DietTribe". The reality series that follows the emotional journey of five friends as they attempt to go from "fat" to "fit." Jessie Pavelka is a personal trainer, nutritionist and fitness model, appearing on the cover of magazines such as Maximum Fitness, Muscles and Fitness, and Fitness Rx. Jessie also guest-starred on the NBC drama series “Friday Night Lights.”

Devoting his life to health and the well-being of himself and others, Jessie specialized in working with bariatric patients both pre- and post-operation. New to Los Angeles, Jessie is a native of Corpus Christi, Texas, and a graduate of the University of North Texas

#40 Nico Panagio

Nico Panagio is an actor and model who is best known as George on the South African soap 7deLaan and he can now be seen on SABC3's Top Billing. Apart from the incredibly interesting content and the exotic travel, Top Billing also allows him the freedom to pursue other acting ventures. He has played the role of Bruno in SABC 3’s Erfsondes and the role of the Druglord Mr. Big, in the SABC 1 series Zone 14.
