TheTVObserver: StarSpread Ladies


TheTVObserver presents a special StarSpread, listing all the female stars we featured on our popular StarSpread. TheTVObserver's StarSpread went through branding changes, which saw us updating and changing our branding, to create a more stable brand identity. Halle Maria Berry, is a notable American actress. Her father, Jerome Berry, is an African American who was a former hospital attendant, while her mother, Judith Ann Hawkins, is a white English-born who used to work as a psychiatric nurse. When she was four years old her parents divorced and from that time Berry, who has an older sister, Heidi, lived with her lovely mother.

Gabrielle Monique Union is an American actress, singer and former model. Among her notable roles is as the cheerleader opposite Kirsten Dunst in the film Bring it On. I really loved her in “Bring It On” she found her ground and was amazing.

Having been the most frequently downloaded female artist from the Internet in the late '90s, Teri Lynn Hatcher certainly has scored one thing that distinguishes her from other television and movie stars. Nevertheless, this stunning actress had undergone a long and winding road to embrace what she has finally achieved. Born on December 8, 1964 in Palo Alto, California, she used to make public performances as a student of San Juan Girls' Ballet Studio in Los Altos.

Born in Teddington, Middlesex, England as Keira Christina Knightley, she earned her first appearance at the age of seven through a TV movie entitled "Royal Celebration" (1993). In the following year, she had already made her big screen debut playing a minor role in "A Village Affair." Continuing her study at Teddington Comprehensive School, she starred in "Innocent Lies" (1995), "Treasure Seekers" (1996), while getting an "introducing..." title in an adaptation of Rosamunde Pilcher's novel, "Coming Home" (1998).

Early in her life, "the ugly duckling" Eva Jacqueline Longoria probably had never imagined that she would transform into a beautiful swan, becoming one of the hottest promising actresses in the United States. Being the youngest in Longoria family, she is different from her three other sisters for her dark complexion as well as her darker eyes and hair. Nevertheless, she passed her childhood happily, grew up on her parents' ranch in Corpus Christi, Texas, which also was her place of birth. Born on March 15, 1975 she made her way to successfully earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology at Texas A&M University in Kingsville.

Claire Forlani was born in Middlesex, England. The daughter of an Italian father and British mother, an 11-year-old Claire attended the Arts Educational School in London where she began her pursuit of being a performer. The Arts Educational School gave her 6 years of dance and drama training, which she executed in her stage performances of The Nutcracker Ballet and Orpheus in the Underworld. With a couple of theatre credits under her belt, the actress/dancer got her showbiz start on British television.

Aishwarya Rai has previously dated Bollywood actors Salman Khan and Vivek Oberoi. She is married to Indian actor Abhishek Bachchan who is three years her junior. After much speculation concerning their relationship, her engagement to Abhishek Bachchan was announced on January 14, 2007. The announcement was later confirmed by Amitabh Bachchan.

The 5' 1" American actress and singer, Hayden Leslie Panettiere, or famously known as Hayden Panettiere, was born on August 21, 1989 in Palisade, New York to parents Skip Panettiere and Lesley Vogel. Her father, Skip, was a lieutenant in a fire department and her mother, Lesley, used to be a soap opera actress. Panettiere has a younger brother, Jansen Panettiere, that also works as an actor.

Heidi Klum was born in Bergische Gladbach, a small city in Cologne, Germany. In 1991, while she was still in high school and doing well in mathematics and art, Heidi was encouraged by her friend Karin to participate in a modeling competition. Although Heidi was reluctant at first, she finally gave in.

It didn't take long for Jennifer Love Hewitt to receive her first acting gig after moving with her mother to California. She became a regular on Kids Incorporated, a series on the Disney Channel that also featured the Black Eyes Peas' female vocalist, Fergie. While working on the show from 1989 to 1991, Hewitt also appeared in commercials for products such as Mattel and L.A. Gear. She put her dancing talents to use as an L.A. Gear dancer, and strutted her stuff at trade shows in Japan and Paris.

Besides "Dawson's Creek", Katie Holmes has shown herself on other television programs, mostly the TV shows, like "The Oprah Winfrey Show" (May 2005), "Late Show with David Letterman" (June 2005), while once hosted "Saturday Night Live" on January 24, 2001. Her charismatic beauty and remarkable talent bring admiration to everyone so that she has been chosen as one of Teen People Magazine's "21 Hottest Stars Under 21" in 1999, then "25 Hottest Stars Under 25" in 2003.
In 1998, Penelope Cruz had her first starring role in an English-language film, playing Billy Crudup's Mexican-American love interest in Stephen Frears' The Hi-Lo Country. She had another go at English later that year in the Spanish-British romantic comedy Twice Upon a Yesterday, which cast her as a Spanish barmaid living in London. In 1999, she returned to Spain to collaborate once again with Almodóvar on Todo Sobre Mi Madre (All About My Mother), a wildly acclaimed film that premiered at Cannes that year.

In May 2005, Rose McGowan portrayed actress/singer Ann-Margret in Elvis, a Golden Globe-winning CBS mini-series about the life of Elvis Presley. In 2006, McGowan had a brief role in Brian De Palma's Academy Award-nominated film The Black Dahlia.
